A friend just sent this in an email!!  Love it!!!!!!!!  Amen!  Amen!

Nehemiah 9; "Blessed be His glorious name and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise...He alone is LORD...He gives life to everything... He is the Lord God...He is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love...in His compassion he delivered them (and us) time after time....He is a gracious and merciful God...our God, great, mighty and awesome, who keeps his covenant of love..."

SUNDAY
Today was a day to explore the electronics market.  The boys LOVED it.  They had all sorts of toys for the boys.  And of course the bargaining started!  Boy Aaron especially loves to wheel and deal!!!

It was so hot again, it is very, very muggy.  Then McDonald's for lunch and swimming (we found arm floaties so much better this time).  Mexican for dinner.  Mike and I tried a margarita.  Not bad for China!!!

Ari fell asleep at dinner and slept through the night.  She was exhausted, not napping yet.  She is enjoying alot more play time.  She colors in the coloring book, builds with our playdough containers, loves books, loves music and especially loves doing anything Anna's doing!  She is so cute talking chinese!!!  But she is also so smart and already saying many English words.  We see more smiles and laughs everyday and less bad behavior!  She has also a new face she is showing us, a super cute smile/smurk.  We love her so!!

We ran into some more families having a hard time getting home.  One woman adopted two down syndrome babies and she is here with her 10yo boy, no husband.  She is hopeful she'll get her Visa today, delayed about 5 days.  We prayed with her and encouraged her.  Also several other families, first adoptions.  You know me, I can talk adoption forever!!  I gave them encouragement and helpful hints. :)  I just love how God works through adoption!  Adoptions for sure have slowed down for China.  I am hopeful more people will again chose to adopt one of these precious children.  They are just sooo precious!!

SATURDAY, our first day in Guangzhou!  Medical exam for Ariana and then just exploring the hotel, surrounding area.  Ate mexican food, which is pretty funny.  Chinese girls dressed in mexican clothing serving us but still don't speak a lick of English.  :)  LOL

Our hotel is gorgeous.  We are so looking forward to heading home though.  2 1/2 weeks in any hotel is still just tooooo long!!!

There is a starbucks right across the street which makes me happy having a piece of home.  It is so hot and humid though, you just sweat like crazy.

Mike took the girls swimming and of course Ariana wanted to do everything Anna does, so she wouldn't let Mike hold her and she wanted to swim all by herself.  Drinking the water btw!  She is pretty good at trying new things!!  Soooooo Mike comes back up with a screaming and I mean screaming child... Ari!  She was so mad!  LOL  Two strong girls... the Lord has something big planned for them for sure!!!

FRIDAY!
Last day in Kunming!  Met a wonderful family who is working with IRIS ministries and also EDEN!  Amazing works of our Father!   Working with orphans, foster care for the orphans who are the toughest special needs, prostitutes, mafia, house mom's (not good ones), and johns!!!  AMAZING discussion!!

Then she took me shopping, with the locals, for Ariana!  I want her to have some things that represent where she is from!  Lots of minority groups here.

Tea ceremony next and then airport to Gangzhou, the last leg of our trip!  We are so looking forward to getting home!!
If I eat KFC one more time I am going to lose it!!! :) LOL

THURSDAY
I really wanted to meet the foster family but understand that is not allowed here so I decided to go on an adventure and at least take pictures for Ariana of what her life was like, even if we didn't find the family that cared for her.  We decided not to take her as we didn't want to add any trauma again to seeing where she may have been and then leaving again.  Aaron and I set off Thursday morning while the rest of the family enjoyed down time.

It was a gorgeous drive into the country.  It was completely a God thing that we found the villages.  The directions we had were not correct but the driver luckily just so happen to know someone who just so happen to know where this village was.  It was the first miracle of the day.... finding it.  When we arrived, we decided to look around and take pictures.

Well lets just say God is so faithful!  The person we decided to knock on their door out of 5 villiages and hundreds of foster families, just so happened to be the foster family Qiutian had when she was 6mos to a year.  AND they knew what village she grew up in as well!  Thank you Lord!!  2nd miracle!

It was an amazing time.  We had tea and pears.  They invited us to lunch but we didn't want to get them in trouble, since we were just visiting on our own.  It is important they get the orphanage permission so we were just going there to get an idea of what village life is like.  Farm land and very rural.  But so beautiful!  Very sweet family and very warm.  They let us take pictures but I will not post to protect them.  They told us of a family visiting without the orphanage permission and this foster family got cut off from the Govt. funding and any future kids.  We would never want that to happen to this wonderful family!!

Then we went to the town that Qiutian spent her last 2 years.  We could not locate the actual village, but we took pictures of the town life.  And this town is marked to be demolished in a year, and they are going to build factories there!  So miracle #3, we were able to take pictures and see it before it was not longer there, and had we waited, it would have been gone!!

What an amazing day, taking it all in.  And my guide was so moved by the experience that he is going to go back and visit the villages and help the kids!!!!!!  WOW!!!!!!!  So thankful.  Just my heart is so full of thankfulness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I forgot to mention the very first miracle was actually going.  The guide was not going to take us and it was a no up until the very last minute!!!!  I will never forget this day and I am so thankful that the door was opened for us to gather information for my daughter!  SOOOO important to us adoptees!!

So thankful!!!  Praising our Father!!!
