We are in Guangzhou!!!  Our last leg of our trip.  Just finished with Ariana's medical exam.  Not too fun but they do give a TB test now, so she was NOT happy!!!
We have had a very busy, very good last few days.  Visited the orphanage, visited the foster villages, met a fantastic family working out  here, amazing stuff!  Absolutely amazing!!!  So many wonderful things to say!!!  I don't even know where to begin!!!
We are really missing home this last part of our trip.  It's lunchtime on Saturday.  Mike is sleeping, the girls are watching madagascar 2, the boys are working out and I finally have a moment to post some pics.

Ariana is really taking to us all, but when we are out and about, she wants her Ba ba.  So thankful because Anna would only come to Momma and it was rough to not get a break.   Ariana in the rooms or restaurants is happy with Momma.  It may be a feeling more protected thing or her foster Baba was the one that took her places??  She is much heavier, so I don't think I could have kept up with carrying her.  :)  So thankful.  She is even getting way more comfortable with her Gu gu's.  And of course Anna is the favorite.  She is feeling a little jealousy sometimes, but still doing awesome with her!!  So thankful for my kids!!!!

WEDNESDAY! Orphanage visit. It was very interesting. I have read several posts so nothing unexpected. Not many kids, very clean, hard and cold. The director was very nice but didn't know alot about Ariana because she was in Foster care. They don't allow us to contact them at all. Such a bummer!!! But God is good! More on that later.  Overall good visit and they do the best they can do.  They have plans to improve and build a new orphanage.  They have about 100 in the orphanage and 600 in various foster villages.  Most if not all at the orphanage were special needs.

They showed us where Ariana was when she was there her first 6 months and then when she returned luckily for only 3 days. A little boy ran out to greet Qiutian.  Not sure if he just does this.  Ariana had longer hair but they cut it.  All the workers seemed happy to see her and greeted us, and they said she cried alot when she came.  I don't blame her!  The director invited us back to visit.  I am hopeful one day we will be able to meet the foster family as well.  They get in big trouble without the orphanage's permission.

They gave us an orphanage book that I am happy to have for Ari. We gave gifts and Mom, I gave them to give to the foster family, your quilt you made. The winny the pooh one that I have the same one for Ariana at home. We will be forever connected as family for Ariana!!

We then went to where she was abandoned. It was the craziest place. Behind a bus station that is no longer there, in a field, by the city center. Well the city center had tons of people, and its where they meet to buy, trade goods, chinese karoke (very popular here), interesting street food, etc. We found out she was left August 29th and her birthday is just an estimate. Made me sick to think of her being left in this field!!!
I'll post days separately......
