Yesterday was a great down day.  We woke up late, went shopping and to starbucks and found a great western restaurant, pizza hut!  And a cafe that was western as well for dinner.  Quesadilla's!!  It was a good day!  Aaron got a chinese NIKE shirt, he was so excited!  They had a very expensive shopping mall as well with Coach, Calvin Klein, all the name brands.  It is so strange that their models are all white, or look white.  Everything here for brand names is very pricey!!

Anyways, funny squatty potty experience- NOT!!!.  Took both girls, not a sole spoke english, Trying to hold one girl up and one girl so she doesn't fall into the potty, in a "the most disgusting" potty ever, Ariana decides to sit down and take her shoe off.  Oh my goodness I thought I was going to die!  So she is screaming when I pick her up, trying to not knock Anna into the potty (as she already fell into one ugh!!!) SOoooooo needless to say I couldn't get out of there fast enough, one girl screaming in my arms the other in tow.....  I literally thought I was going to throw up!!!  And Ari's heavy enough to be hard to handle in the middle of a tantrum!!  Oh my back!!  And I haven't even mentioned smell.....  I walked out of there, handed the girls to Mike and ran to get fresh air, if there is any!  All the Chinese women staring.... ha ha.  They must of thought, what is this white woman doing???

Well.... other than that, it was a great day! 

Making great friends/contacts here.  Our guide says I'm charming. LOL  Just good at talking my way into getting what we want done.  Thank you Lord!!

Lots of interesting food on street!  Sweet potatoes, peanuts, leche fruit, cantelope, watermelon, meat on sticks, just to name a few.  All in open.  Some not sure what it is.  I love the music on the streets.  All new sounds and so many people.  I can't believe the number of people!!

The girls are amazing and so are my boys, so patient!  Each day, Ari warms up to us all.  Aaron was playing basketball with the girls earlier throwing pillow pets into his arms, Anton likes to show them gugu's electronics, Daddy's playing tent in the bed and Momma is now getting lots of hugs and kisses.  She is allowing me to comfort her and I am so thankful!!!  So so thankful!  She is starting to pick up English already and when she talks in chinese it is so so cute!!  Anna has been the biggest help through this I know, because she copies everything big sister does.  So thankful, so thankful.  I feel the Lord's hand upon us!!

Today we meet with the orphanage and we go see Ariana's finding spot.  Another emotional day for us, but important.
